  1. The author has created memorable experiences in her class by “gamifying” it. She spent the majority of her talk explaining badges and the system that she created. Her class sounded like a whole lot of fun and students seemed engaged, motivated and growing. She focuses more on patience and persistence, less on grades. For her class it is about the mastery of skills and the process of earning more badges which earned them rewards like blogging and other incentives. I cant wait to hear how her Item cards work out. Sounds like another fantastic piece of her gaming room !
