I believe students should study topics they are “passionate” about, so I created a resource to help guide them! Here is a preview of my packet available at my teacher store:
So I started working on my gifted endorsement through the University of Cincinnati this past spring. Currently I am taking a class about collaboration and cultural diversity. One of the assignments for my class was to build a unit with two partners on a field trip experience. I worked with two fabulous ladies and we went to the Underground Railroad Freedom Center. My part was the “during trip lesson” and for it, I created a student “workbook”. Check it out! I hope others can use it!
It is designed to be folded in 1/2 with the print side out. The first page should wrap around all of the others. Put the folds to the outside of the cover and the ends against the folded cover. Staple and…booklet!
The iPad bug bit me two years ago. I bought one and started collecting apps. One turned into 2; 2 to 3; 3 to 4…
Using money I made teaching after school math enrichment classes and sales on my TeacherPayTeacher Store I was able to buy 5 iPads. From a grant from the Loveland Schools Foundation I was able to purchase an iPad mini.
And the exploration began! I’ll be sharing some of my uses and discoveries at the HCESC Tech 2013 Tech Academy.
Stay tuned for more…
